The Horigome family is from
Yamanashi Prefecture. They are
Samurai
class belonging to the Tokugawa Clan.
Grandfather, Masakiyo Horigome, was Kanoehe
(Emperor's Samurai.) The Horigome Kamon
(above left), or family crest is Mitsuba aoi.
Grandmother, Sui Sato, family was,
obviously, Sato, also
Samurai class, from
Mito in
Ibaraki Prefecture.

- As children, we spent much of our time at our Grandparents
home in Machida, as suburb of Tokyo. With our father in
Vietnam, we lived mostly in Japan with our Mother's family.
- Mom had 2 brothers and 1
sister.
- We have many cousins but, the
ones I remember are Susumu and Kaori.
